Introduction: INSTANT SWEET PASTRY

Have you also got sweet tooth like mine? Craving for some sweet pastry during this quarantine? Let’s try to make something with the help of some bread and the stuffing with simple ingredients that are easily available at home.

Serves: 4

Ingredients:

Bread Slices: 8

Ghee: 1 Tbsp (For Greasing the outer side of the bread before toasting)

For Stuffing

Grated Fresh coconut/ dry coconut: 3 Tbsp

Tutti Fruiti: 3 Tbsp

Cashew: 5-7

Deseeded Dates: 10 (Cut in to small pieces)

Sugar: 2 Tbsp (For extra Sweetness and completely optional)

Elachi Powder: ½ tsp

Step 1: Stuffing

Mix all the ingredients for stuffing together.

Step 2: Get Ready to Toast

Switch on the Sandwich Toaster or a tawa on the stove.

Step 3: Make the Pastry

Grease outer part a bread slice and stuff the bread and close with another and coat the ghee on upper side of the other side also.

Step 4: Grill/Toast

Place the stuffed bread onto the Toaster and if you are toasting the bread on a stove, toast one side and flip for the other side to be toasted completely.

Step 5: Ready to Serve

Now your instant sweet pastry is ready to serve.
