Introduction: The "Iluminatee" Pyramid Lamp Shade Made of Paper

Make an awesome looking illuminati inspired pyramid lamp shade using only a sheet of paper and a marker.

My lamp bulb died and I got a fluorescent one that was cold light(how foolish of me). I hated the greenish white color it gave so I came up with this hack. The lamp emits a purple-ish fuzzy color that's insanely gorgeous. Hope you like it as much as I do.

Step 1: Step 1: Get Your Materials and Start Working

All you need is a sheet of paper and a marker with the color of your choice.

I used A4(Letter) format paper and folded the paper right in the middle to trace a line. Then I folded the ends down that line to form a triangle/pyramid. After that I drew an illuminati eye... it would be a good idea to do this step before making the pyramid for obvious reasons :)

Step 2: Step 2: Color Your Bulb With the Marker

Use the marker you used on the previous step to color over the light bulb. As you can see, the color looks waaaay different on fluorescent light than on paper and I LOVE it! :D

You don't need to be very thorough with the colors but try to cover as much of the surface as possible.

Attention: I am using a fluorescent bulb that doesn't get hot. Make sure you don't create a fire hazard!

Step 3: Step 3: Wrap Things Up

Place the paper pyramid on the lamp and be amazed by this genious build!
My phone has trouble capturing the awesomeness of this project but I guarantee you that it looks better in real life. My whole room glows in dreamy magenta and it ups the cozyness level over 9000!!!
Some people perceive this as eerie but here, in Transylvania it's totally cozy ;)

Further improvements to do:
-a wire stand for the pyramid would enhance stability and create new shape options
-the use of fabric over the paper and at the edges would add an interesting feel
