I saw a large binder clip used to wedge a stack of soda cans in the fridge. It was clipped to the front edge of the shelve near the side of the fridge. The cans were stacked behind the wedge such that the bottom front can could not roll out.
They are good on a music stand for windy days.
But while we are on the subject, combine your binder clips with small neodymium magnets for even more clever opportunities!!

I don't have a link. I've just been doing things like glueing magnets to mechanical pencils, and sticking little recycled scrap paper in binder clips and sticking them to the fridge with a magnet. Let's go a searchin'!

I made a phone holder for my car, people said I shouldn't be so tight and just buy one. But now they like it!

I use them in the kitchen, to close semi-used pouches of noodles, cheese, sauce, mustard, ketchup, etc. They are excellent.
