Chaat masala is a perfect tangy Indian spice or masala without which any chaat recipe is incompplete. A must have for all chaat recipes.
Asfoetida/ Hing - 1/4 Tsp Cumin seeds/ Zeera - 2 tbsp Black Pepper powder/ Kali Mirch - 1/2 tsp Amchur / Dry mango powder - 2 tbsp Salt - 1.5 tbsp Black Salt - 1 tsp Ginger powder/ Sonth - 1 tsp Mint powder/ Pudina - 1 tsp Carom seeds/ Ajwain - 1.5 tsp Coriander seeds/ Dhaniya - 1 tbsp
Step 1: Method
1. Dry roast, cumin seeds, carom seeds and coriander seeds. Cool down, grind and sieve it.
2. Add balance all ingredients and store the spice in an air tight container. This quantity can be used for 2-3 months. After that it tends to loose it flavours so must be prepared fresh as desired.
