Introduction: Indonesian Salad

Indonesian salad is made of vegetables which are easily available in all the regions.It is a very healthy salad with vegetables full of fibre and water at the same time it has a very nice taste which is a perfect balance of sour and sweet.

Step 1: Ingredients

1.Cucumber

2.Radish

3.Onion

4.Green Chili

5.Sugar

6.Salt

7.Garlic

8.White Vinegar

Step 2: Prepare the Vegetables

1.Cut the cucumber in long pieces.

2.Cut the radish in long pieces and soak them in water for 10-15 minutes to reduce the bitter taste of radish.

3.Cut the onion in semicircular shapes.

4.Slit the Green chili from between diving it in two halves.

Step 3:

1.Take a bowl

2.Put the cucumber pieces to the bowl

3.Add the prepared radish(which has been soaked in water 15 minutes ago)

4.Add the sliced onion and green chili.

Step 4:

Take a small bowl and put 4 spoon of white vinegar to the bowl ,it will give the sour taste and will be the main base of the dressing for the salad.

Step 5:

Add two spoon powdered sugar to the vinegar ,you can also use normal sugar I have used powdered sugar because it gets easily dissolved in the vinegar.

Step 6:

Add half spoon salt ,it will act as a counter to the sweetness of the sugar and it will create a balance in the taste.

Step 7:

Add finely chopped garlic(2 cloves) and mix well till the sugar and salt is properly dissolved.

Step 8:

Add the dressing to the salad and mix properly such that the dressing is evenly spread on all the vegetables.Serve it fresh and enjoy the flavors.
