I made an Japanese ink painting of a tree -- one of my favorite parts of nature -- with a watercolor sky and ground.
I was introduced to ink painting my sophomore year of highschool, and it has been my favorite ever since. As seen in the video, I do this project myself. Sometimes I paint the sky and ground first, but others (like in my instructable) I start right off with the tree. I get caught up in all the beautiful branches.
I made this at home, at my desk. I love to draw and paint, this project shows my true admiration for art and nature at the same time. I love sitting outside in the springtime and taking everything in. The music I chose for the background also reflects upon the state I get into when I make art; wordless and peaceful.
I would have avoided some smudging if I did it again, but for the most part it turned out the way I planned. I may have added more to the sky, though.
