Designing an Instagram-like photo booth. Here, I'll show all the steps on how I built it.

Step 1: Preliminary Design in SketchUp

Step 2: Building the Frame

Built the frame using 1x2" & 1/2" plywood on the bottom. I used Luan sheets for the skin. Using Quikrete quick form tubes make great round edges!

Step 3: Cut Openings

Cut openings for the back monitor and built-in printer tray.

Step 4: Adding Bondo

I applied Bondo to fill in the round surfaces flush with the straight surfaces then sanded it.

Step 5: Added Lights

I added an internal 110v receptacle, a dimmer, and four standard light sockets for the flash. I used 4 1300 lumen LED flood lights for the flash.

Step 6: Painting

I used a metallic brown for the top. I used painter's tape to separate the different colors used on the top.d

More painting and showing it's size for reference.

Step 8: Finished!
