Introduction: Install Chevy Malibu LED Daytime Running Lights

When you've got a great American sedan like the Chevy Malibu, you probably want to install a few upgrades to make the traditional sedan stand out. A great choice would be a new set of Chevy Malibu LED daytime running lights to give your lower bumper a more unique look. This set of LED DRL is a great choice for the Chevy Malibu with or without stock fog lamps.

Step 1:

Step 1: Pry and remove the original fog lamp garnish cover. You can use a pry tool or a flat head screwdriver for this step. Be careful not to scratch the paint.

Step 2: Directly replace the location back with the new LED daytime running lamp. Repeat on the other side.

Step 3: Connect both sides of the LED lamps to the DRL module box and draw the wires up to the battery location.

Step 4: Tap/connect the wires according to the label on the DRL module box.

Step 5: Secure all the wire and module box. Be sure to mount the module box above the headlight level. The module box is not waterproof so you must mount it either behind the headlights or near the battery/fuse box to keep it completely dry.

Step 2:

Test to make sure everything works and enjoy your new Chevy Malibu LED daytime running lights.
