Introduction: Install Jeep Wrangler LED Headlights

About: Everything about automotive LED lights

The Jeep Wrangler has been a stable American icon ever since its inception in the 1980s. The Jeep Wrangler is known for its off-roading ride and those speaker shape headlights that give off that aura of being bold and adventure-driven. Many Jeep owners love to customize their Jeep and now you can even install some new LED headlights to give out a better output for those crazy days on some dirt beaten trail. These LED headlights are inspired by the gigantic spider eyes so they practically gaze at you with that come hither look. You can conveniently find these Jeep Wrangler LED headlights on Amazon to make the buying experience quick and simple!

Step 1:

Remove the screws and clips holding the front grille in place and then remove the front grille so you can gain access to the headlights.

Step 2:

Remove the four (4) screws that are holding the metal bracket ring around the headlights.

Step 3:

Remove the metal bracket ring.

Step 4:

Unplug the adapter and remove the stock headlights.

Step 5:

Replace back with the new Jeep Wrangler LED headlights the same way they were removed and connect the adapter.

If your Jeep uses an H4 socket instead of H13, you can use the H13 --> H4 conversion adapter that's included in the package.

Do your new LED headlights work? If your head beam does not work at all during the initial installation, please check both the adapter on the LED headlights and the LED driver module box. Make sure no pins are pushed out. If the problem persists, you may need to re-pin the adapter.

If the high beam takes a couple tries to turn on, it means that there's not enough power being supplied. The battery may need to be replaced or you may have to add a relay harness to directly draw the power from the battery.

If you experience the issue where your high beam is periodically flickering, you will need an anti-flicker decoder to solve the problem once and for all.

Sometimes, the issue will be localized on one side only. If that's the case, you will need to switch the LED driver module box from the driver side to the passenger side and vice versa to see if the module box is the issue.

Step 6:

Once your Jeep Wrangler headlights work, put the metal ring and the screws back. Once everything is secure, reinstall the front grille.

Step 7:

You can see that there's no complicated installation involved where you have to do any hard modification. The simple plug-and-play installation is great for a number of car fans and these Jeep Wrangler LED headlights are a must-have addition for anyone who is partial towards their Jeep.
