It Can't Get Soupy! Perfect Pecan Pie

Introduction: It Can't Get Soupy! Perfect Pecan Pie

Flo (from the Progressive commercials) has single handedly stopped world from making delicious homemade pecan pie! "It can get soupy!" Let's prove this women wrong people! Make this perfect pecan pie and share it with the WORLD!!!

Step 1: Gather Ingridients

4 Large Eggs
1 Cup Brown Sugar
3/4 Cup Light Corn Syrup
5 TBLS Unsalted Butter
1 tsp Vanilla
1/2 tsp Salt
2 Cups Pecans
1 Pie Crust (here is a link for my recipe and directions )

Measuring Cups/Spoons
Wax Paper
Pie Plate
Printed logo

Step 2: Mix & Mingle

Preheat oven to 375 degrees.

Whisk Together:
4 Large Eggs
1 Cup Brown Sugar, packed
3/4 Cup Light Corn Syrup
5 TBLS Unsalted Butter, melted
1 tsp Vanilla
1/2 tsp Salt

NOTE: Stir while adding melted butter so you don't cook your eggs.

Step 3: Dump Into Crust

Fill uncooked pie crust with:

2 Cups Pecan, spread evenly
Pour in bowl of everything else

Step 4: Bake

Bake at 375 degrees for 35-45 minutes for until when you giggle pie it is set like jello. UNLESS you want to add pi logo or any logo and then continue reading.

Bake pie for 15 minute and then add pastry logo and keep cooking. This is how I created my logo:

Printed logo off computer.
Rolled out dough between two pieces of wax paper.
Used printed logo as pattern and cut out logo.
Removed wax paper and placed on pie after 15 minutes of cooking.

Step 5: The Hardest Part

The most difficult part of making this pie is waiting for it to cool and set. Pie must cool for 1 1/2 hours before serving. :(

Which means I'll be waking up at midnight to have a slice... and this pi challenge is ruining my diet!
