Introduction: Jar Candle With Strings

This cool and fun project will take any ordinary jar and turn it into a cool recycled candle holder.

Make at your own risk.

Step 1: Jar

Find yourself a clean glass (or plastic) jar. It can be any shape or size.

Step 2: String

Find some string. It can be yarn, paracord, etc. As long as it is a rope, it should work.

Step 3: Spray Paint

Next, find some white spray paint, or whatever color you want the jar to be. Make sure that the spray paint bonds to glass.

Step 4: Outside

Go outside, or to a well ventilated area.

Step 5: Put the String on the Jar

Put your string on the jar and make sure to leave some room in between the rope like shown in the picture.

Step 6: Start Spray Painting the Jar

Make sure that you are wearing clothes that you don't mind getting paint on just in case something happens.

Step 7: Let It Dry

Let the paint dry for around 20 minutes, depending on what type of paint you used.

Step 8: Take the String Off the Jar

Make sure that the paint has dried and take off the string on the jar.

Step 9: Candle

Put a candle inside of the jar and light the candle.
