About Jynx

Jynx is an Ice and Psychic type Pokemon from the Kanto region. The species is 100% female and prefers alpine regions with lots of snow. Jynx evolves from Smoochum starting at level 30. This plush tutorial yields an expressive PokeDoll standing just under 4" tall and 2.5" wide. Follow along below and use the instructable steps for additional assistance. Have fun crafting, trainer!

Felt Jynx Plush Tutorial (free pattern)

Supplies:

  • Felt (Red, White, Purple, Light Yellow/Cream, Yellow, Hot Pink, Optional: Black)
  • Glue Gun
  • Needle/Thread (Black, Red)
  • Scissors
  • Stuffing
  • Pins
  • Optional: Thimble, Ribbon/Keyring


Alternate Shiny Jynx Colors:

Change color of dress from red to a dark pink

Step 2: Step 2: Cut Pattern

It will be of great help to cut the paper pattern before pinning in onto felt.

Step 3: Step 3: Cut Shapes Onto Felt

You'll need these shapes to make your 3-D plush.

Step 4: Step 4: Assemble Plush

You'll be using a variety of stitches from the video and even a hot glue gun!

Step 5: Step 5: Take Jynx on Adventures!

Pokemon love to travel, Jynx will make for a fun companion for photo ops.
