Intro: K'nex Model Paint Stand

As you can see, a lot of little paints can become a hassle, so I made a stand. Here's how to make a handy enamel or acrylic paint holder with K'nex.

Step 1: Make Racks

Make 2-3 racks to hold your paints. Also gather the other pieces. (You can have as many racks as you can, however I only made 3).

Step 2: Make the Small Top Rack and Feet.

If you want a top rack that can hold 3 things, then make this. Note: The feet are required with or without the top rack.

Step 3: Assemble

Put everything together.

Step 4: The Yellow Elastic

This is handy for opening stubborn paints.

I usually make cars, however I want to make other things like airplanes. You could modify the shelf by moving the rods closer together for smaller tins.

K'Nex ... but not a gun ... somebody pinch me ... I must be dreaming ... (BTW, like the rubber-band trick. That would have been worth a small Instructable on its own)
