About: Am working on getting my KSP Build3.7 posted within the next couple of weeks - don't quite have the time at current. Am also working on a new series of compact rifles with a unique internal firing mechanism ...

Intro: KSP V1

Knex Slide Pistol V1

This is a simple slide pistol i made.
It took me about 2 hours to make but I'm always modifying it.
It fires blue rods and the range depends on how many bands you use.

Parts:
Barrel - step 1
Slide - step 2
Handle - step 3
Trigger - step 4
Ram - step 5
Body - step 6
Bands - step 8

Step 7 is putting it all together

UPDATED MODEL COMING SOON - V2

I decided to take apart V1 to make a new gun, i thought about making a slide that fires larger rods and i came up with this new KSP V2 (2nd picture).
It fires yellow rods.
I'll be posting it soon.

Step 1: The Barrel

Follow the pictures. Some may not be very clear. If you'd like some clearer ones, let me know.

Step 2: The Slide

Follow the pictures and the text on each

Step 3: The Handle

This is a really easy part, just follow the pictures

Step 4: The Trigger

This is the trigger. Follow the pictures and the notes.
This is a version of the trigger i used on my Knex mini-uzi.

Step 5: The Ram

This is the easiest part of the gun. The ram is simple.

Step 6: The Body

The pictures may be difficult to follow. If you need better pictures, please let me know

Step 7: Assembly

Assembly of the gun. The pictures are easy to follow.

Step 8: Bands

Here's where the bands should go

Step 9: You're Done

You should have built the gun by now. And it should work fine. Have fun.

If you had any problems, I'll provide some more pictures.

HOW TO LOAD:

TO LOAD THE GUN, PULL BACK THE SLIDE AND PLACE A BLUE ROD IN THE BARREL.
RELEASE THE SLIDE.
IF LOADED AND BUILT CORRECTLY, THE SLIDE SHOULD ALWAYS RETURN TO NORMAL POSITION. IT SHOULD ALSO BE A LOT EASIER TO PULL BACK THAN BEFORE IT WAS LOADED.

I'm finally going to post mu update for this gun. well, after the major updates i made, i'm going to create another instructable for it, instead of updating this one. I'm not creating it for V2, i'm creating it for V3. Take a look.

If you mean v1, and i am sure that you do, simply pull back the slide and put a blue rod into the chamber - however, this is difficult to do if you have many bands on the ram/gun etc. V3 removes this problem because the rod can be put into the chamber, before the slide is pulled back. (The row of grey connectors on the slide leave a gap so that a yellow rod can be placed in) I will create an instructable for V3 soon.

Sorry about taking so long to update this - i've been busy on my new rifle. I'll have both my KSP and my Mini-uzi updated soon.

Depends on how many bands you use. V2 can shoot much further because it shoots yellow rods and because of a stronger ram that can take more bands.
