This is a super easy, super healthy and super delicious recipe and it's purple.
Place the following ingredients in the order of the below list in a blender:
1 Cup orange juice
2 Sticks of celery, washed and chopped
3 Medium strawberries, washed, stem removed
1/3 Cup fat free plain yogurt
1 Cup, slightly shy, frozen blueberry, washed
Pulse a few times to let the materials distribute evenly, blend at High and Smoothie setting; or follow your blender's instruction for making smoothie.
This recipe makes exactly 2 cups. It's cool and medium thick. If you want colder drink in hot summer, add ice. If you want thicker smoothie, add 1 banana per two cups' batch. If you need to make more or less cups of smoothie, feel free to scale up or down.
The acidity from all the ingredients sets the right PH for a beautiful delicious purple color. Depending on the substitute ingredients you use, it may be pink, green, brown or blue. I like the taste and color most when it's purple.
