K'nex Gun - Gladiator

Introduction: K'nex Gun - Gladiator

About: I do K'nex...a lot. It's fun to mess around with new mechanisms, and to learn about basic engineering. I build mostly guns, and love to build new concepts. I will start posting some of my 'unposted ideas' in...

This is my latest K'nex Gun. It has four turrets attached to one giant turret, and holds 32 rounds when fully loaded. It weighs about five pounds, and looks pretty good. It uses 162 Gray Two-Slot connectors, which is almost all of mine. I just have to put some finishing touches on it, like a charging handle, and an updated barrel. I'm pretty sure it's a new concept....I haven't seen anything like this on instructables, but I could be wrong. So, Here are some Pro's and Con's.

- Pro's -

Looks Good

New Concept

Good Range 40 - 45 feet

Holds 32 rounds

Strong, yet comfy handle

Comfy stock

If you look at the pictures, the turret doesn't bend down at all.

- Con's -

Hard to pull back at the moment.

Barrel is tight.

Long reload time.

.

I will not be posting instructions for this unless there is a high demand for it. Sorry, but it would be a ton of work for me, and school's about to start up again, so I have to get ready for that.

- Please leave your thoughts in the comments section. It helps me with overall quality of my builds. I'm also open to suggestions for new builds. -

.

Also, this might be my last turret gun. It took up all of my gray two-way connectors. :P

Idk...this isn't the challenge that JohnnyBGood gave me, soI don't think I'll name it that. Thanks anyway though!

Yeah I probably spent three days on the turret mech itself, so the body may need help. But you can hole the gun by the handle and it sdesn't bend, so I think it's fine. Thanks for your opinion.

First off, let me say (0.0). You just built one of those multiple revolver guns like people have modded nerf mavericks. It looks pretty cool! So does each revolver have a separate ratchet mech? Or do you have to wind up each turret when it's in the shooting position?

Oh and one other thing, I haven't seen any of these on this site before. But I've been building guns on this site for 3 years now? So maybe some of the original guys have seen this before. To me though this is original.

Each turret has a stopper so you can pre-wind it. It functions exactly like my safety on my Destroyer Rifle. So basically, once it's loaded you have 32 rounds to shoot.

Sweet. I'm guessing you have to manually turn to each turret. Regardless Good job!

Yeah you have to push a rod in to get the big turret to spin, but other wise it's hands free.
