Knex Smg (instructions)

This is my knex smg that i posted awhile back but as an instructable.

It fires white/silver rods through the magazine yellow/brown rods are recomended which can easily be loaded in through the end of the barrel.

good looks
easy to reload
good sights
accurate at short range
cheek rest
new stock rest
stock and handle can be removed for better manouverability
easy to pull apart
can add sights
has places for straps
has a charging handle (just for looks)

This gun is very easy to build so just follow the pictures and should be done in no time.

Step 1: Receiver

relatively simple

NB This part uses 7 broken grey connectors

Step 2: Body

Step 3: Barrel

Step 4: Magazine

Curved magazine - mainly for looks and hard to use when firing from the magazine.

Straight magazine - Fits better in the well and should be used when shooting from the magazine.

Step 5: Stock

Image 6,7 : cheek rest

Image8,9 : Stock rest

image 10 :  use the part from pic 8 to stop the rest from moving.

Step 6: Trigger, Rear Sight and Firing Rod

The orange part on the trigger must be broken.

The rod end has been shaped using a pencil sharpener and knife (This makes it easier to pull back and lock the trigger)

Step 7: Foregrip

1,2 : foregrip

3,4 : bipod

5,6 : connecting the bipod to the grip

7,8,9 : steps to attach the grip. NB (the rod with gear must rotate to add or remove grip)

Step 8: Assembly

Attach parts in shown places

2 : trigger goes here
3 : slide in the trigger pin
4 : attach this piece on other side (i dont know what the piece is called)
5 : attach the trigger guard

6 : firing rod goes here

7,8 : Magazine placement

7-put magazine in at an angle
8-push magazine in direction towards trigger to lock in place

9- front strap connection
10-rear strap connection

Step 9: Adding the Lackeys

i use use #64 for firing rod and #14 for trigger and charging handle

1,2 : top band
3 : bottom band

use 2 bands along top and 2 on bottom.

4,5 : trigger band

6 : charging handle band

7: attach the rear sight after the rubber bands have been put on

Step 10: Extra Sight

This is just a modified fake reflex sight i saw somewhere

pic 4 is my real reflex sight

you were lazy and didn't want to completely disassemble your gun XD no one can make it cuz you don't show how to make the parts less they are eagle eyed

Looking at Step 5: Image 6/7 (Cheek rest, as you called it), if you reversed the order of every other dark grey connector, the structural integrity would be greater.

sweet gun but can you strip it down? I want to save parts but get the same performance, and i dont care about looks. if you do this, let me know

Could anyone who is going to say something about this being featured, please not. I didnt choose this gun to be featured so if your not happy then take it up with the person who featured it.

The people who feature the knex guns probably do not quite know the details of how a knex gun works internally. I can't blame them for that, but yeah.

This looks pretty nice and I find it deserves a place on featured.
