First get or buy a pair of gloves from a thrift store.
Then get a silver sharpie and mark where the knuckles are.
Then make a design you like on poster board and cut it out.
When you are done you can use the pieces as stencils and cut them out on sheet metal if you have the tools and experience to do so. Follow this tutorial by David Guyton if you want to work with metal. http://m.youtube.com/watch?v=iVM-dCKhaL4
Then hot glue the poster board pieces on to the gloves and spray them with metallic spray paint. I used silver for a steel look.
Let dry for 30 minutes and then do another coating onto the gauntlet and let it dry again for a few hours.
