Hey momoluvers! It's momo and today I'll be showing y'all how to make this super cute owl phone cozy. This is a unique way to represent your personal skills and style. I hope y'all enjoy this tutorial, thanks for liking and voting!

NOTE: most of my data got erased from my phone crashing, so I apologize for the lack of picture, I hope this instructable is still enjoyable for y'all, let me know!

Step 1: Supplies

1. 3 yarn colors
2. Knitting needles
3. Sewing needles
4. A button or black yarn

Step 2: Beginning the Body

Cast on an even number of rows (depending on how large your phone is, the size will vary)

Knit the first loop then pull the string around the needle.

Knit two more loops.

Pull the loop you created around the two knitted loops. Repeat these steps until you have completed the first row

Purl the next row.

Repeat this process for each row

Step 3: The Body (continued)

Continue the knit, purl, knit, purl pattern until you have a piece long enough to fit your phone comfortably.

Add your second color (I'm using green) and continue the same pattern. KFB (knit front back) for the two edge stitches. Form two more rows then begin decreasing the stitches by picking up two for a normal stitch.

Continue this until you have two stitches left. Cast off and form a loop at the end.

To sew the case together, simply use a blanket stitch on either open side and tie it off.

Step 4: Button on Top

Use a thick dark colored yarn to form a knot sort of thing. The knot should be thick enough to hold the green loop closed.

You can also just use a black oval shaped button, but I prefer the yarn because there is no need to buy unnecessary supplies

Step 5: Eyes

Form a chain stitch with a lightly colored yarn.

Duplicate another chain stitch of the same proportion.

Use sewing needles to sew each chain into a circle.

See each eye on the body of the owl parallel to the nose loop/button.

Step 6: Wings

Cast on about 6 stitches.

Continue the pattern we used earlier.

Decrease the stitches on row at a time until you are left with one stitch.

Cast off and use the excess string to sew the wing to the body.

Step 7: Finito!
