This miniature wooden bicycle measures nearly 1 inche in length and 2 inches in height. It is made from 3mm Baltic birch plywood and cut with a universal laser system.

To create a design for  the bike itself I based it around a mountain bike. Many changes can be made to the design of the frame to make it look like a different type of bicycle such as more curves in the frame. What ever floats your boat!

After I created my sketch for my bike, I used autoCAD 2014 to create my design. Since this bicycle is made from all flat pieces, i used pegs to assemble the parts together after it was cut. Make sure to draw extra pegs because they are easily lost.

To assemble the bike after cutting from the laser i used standard wood glue to attach all the non-moving parts. The handle bar is a dow rod cut to size. To allow the wheels to move i used pins for the axles which were also cut to size.
