This allows you to be as creative as you want since you can design how you want your LED daytime running lamps to look. Remove the fog light plastic insert of lower bumper insert before you begin drilling the holes for the LEDayFLEX LED DRL.
Be sure to carefully measure and mark where you are going to be installing each individual LED light.
Insert the LED lights through the holes you have drilled.
You can install up to 10 pieces of LED lights per side.
However, if you have too many LEDs, use a separate module box to provide full power.
Connect the LED lights to each other. Screw on the backing of the LED lights to the plastic insert to secure them in place. We have specially made connectors to have a water tight seal. Make sure you lock in the connectors.
Take note that the connectors will lock in only one direction. If you are having a difficult time securing the connectors, take them apart and you will see that there is a groove that you will need to have both sides match in order to secure. This will firmly lock the connectors.
Connect to the module box. Have the red wire tap to any 12V power source such as parking light +, side marker light + or ACC in fuse box and then have the black wire tap to battery negative or ground.
Test to make sure everything works and enjoy your universal fit LEDayFLEX free style LED daytime running lights.
