Step 1: Ingredients

Ingredients (serves 2-3 people)

1/2 large lemon

2 tablespoons maple syrup

1 cup frozen fruit (I used berry blend)

1 1/2 cups liquid (almond, coconut, cow milk, etc.)

1 apple

Step 2: Lemon & Apple

Lemon adds an awesome tang and apple adds sweetness to balance it out.

Cut your lemon and half and peel it. DON'T add the lemon rind to the smoothie. Put in the center part.

Roughly chop your apple up, and leave out the seeds. Add it to the blender as well. (You'll want a high speed blender, preferably, like Vitamix)

Step 3: Frozen Fruit

Add your frozen fruit

(I used Costco's 3 berry blend)

Step 4: Liquid

Add your choice of liquid until it almost tops off the fruit. Also add syrup.

Step 5: Blend It Up

Blend gradually to high speed. Once on high speed, continue for 20 seconds, and then stop blending.

Step 6: Serve and Enjoy

Pour into cups and enjoy!

(Plz do not try to store these in your pantry, or anywhere else for that matter, as they will spoil rather quickly and are made to be *drank *drunk *dranken *drunken as quickly as possible)
