Introduction: Lentil Flour Fritters

-Lentil flour fritters can be good evening snacks.These are prepared by mixing lentil and flours with some spices and are fried.

Ingredients

-Half cup black gram

- 2 tbsp rice flour

-3 tbsp All purpose flour

-one chopped onion

-Few curry leaves

-Tsp red chilli powder

-Tsp of ginger garlic paste

-Salt as per taste

-Cooking oil

Step 1: Soak Black Gram

-Soak half cup black gram in water for 5 hours.

Step 2: Blend Soaked Black Gram to Paste

-Transfer soaked black gram to blender and blend by adding water slowly to paste.

Step 3: Transfer Black Gram Paste to Bowl

-Transfer blended black gram paste to bowl

Step 4: Add Flours

-Add 3 to 4 tbsp All purpose flour,2 tbsp rice flour and mix.

-Add very little water and adjust consistency little thicker so that we can add small dumplings and fry in oil.

Tip:

-After adding flours if its too liquidy add little more flour and adjust the consistency to thick so that we can add small dumplings to fry.

Step 5: Add Onions and Curry Leaves

-once we mix flours with blended black gram paste we add all other ingredients.

-Add chopped onions and few curry leaves

Step 6: Add Spices

-Add tsp red chilli powder and salt as per taste

Step 7: Add Ginger Garlic Paste

-Finally add ginger garlic paste and give a mix so that all spices are properly mixed with lentil flour batter.

Step 8: Frying

-Once batter is prepared heat the oil. When oil is heated take small dumplings and add to oil.

-Fry fritters until they turn golden brown color

Step 9: Enjoy Fritters With Any Chutney

-Enjoy hot lentil flour fritters with any chutney of your choice
