This is a simple way to get flash.
Materials-
Ubuntu installed
Computer
Mouse
Keyboard
Internet
Duh!

Step 1:

Open a Terminal, application->Accessories->Terminal



Step 2:

Type in
sudo aptitude install ubuntu-restricted-extras
and hit enter

Step 3:

The result of the image will occur if you have it installed, it is okay to reinstall if your install somehow got messed up.

    ORr instead of all that, you could just go to http:/www.youtube.com popup/down window you need java blah blah install Yes
    you need to restarted firefox... chrome.... yes.. restarts ... DONE

    Or, you could just open Synaptic Package Manager and install the "Flash Player plugin-installer"

    What is this?
    The sum total seems to be "execute this command", but you've not explained what it does or what the result is. I assume it's an enabling / unpacking / installing operation?
