"Locked Snake" Stopper Knot

This is a very secure knot.

The extra loop in this snake knot locks it in place.

Once it is pulled tight is is difficult to undo.

It makes a nice lanyard, zipper pull, key ring fob, etc.

Step 1:

Middle your cord. At the point where you want to form your loop move B over A . . . . . .

Step 2:

. . . . . and bring it down under to form a bight around A.

Step 3:

Bring A under B.

Step 4:

Bring A over all and through bight a. .

Step 5:

Bring A under B.

Step 6:

Bring A over all and through bight a.

Step 7:

Tighten the knot.
