Long Capsicum Fritters

Intro: Long Capsicum Fritters

An easy to make recipie for making Long Capsicum Fritters.

  1. Long Capsicum: 10 Numbers
  2. Chickpea Flour: One cup
  3. Red Chilly Powder: One teaspoon
  4. Turmeric Powder: 1/2 teaspoon
  5. Asafetida Powder: 1/2 teaspoon
  6. Salt to taste
  7. Oil for deep frying
  8. Water as required

  1. Combine chickpea flour, salt, Red chilly powder, Asafetida and turmeric powder with water and make a semi-thick batter
  2. Cut capsicum into half longitudinally
  3. Heat oil in a pan
  4. Dip the cut capsicum in the batter and deep fry
  5. Remove from oil when the batter turns brown

Makes a nice evening snack with tomato sauce
