Love Box

I've noticed that my mom LOVES to write in her journal, she does it everyday. She had her pencils and Gel pens in a plain wooden box she had gotten from Hobby Lobby. I was looking at it when she suddenly handed it to me and said "Here decorate this for me." And this is what I came up with.

Sorry its been awhile since I've been on here, but I used 2 (the thick kind) scrap-booking papers, both had patterns on both sides. I also used some paint, glue, and curved corner punch. Very simple, but took a while because I made templates before cutting anything. Saved me time, paper and a probable trip to my craft store. :) I didn't create the design of the paper, but I get the gist of how to accomplish a similar look. The pattern of the paper can be accomplished with stamps, colored paper with words on it(words can be used from a book, stamped on the paper or printed). The label (love and its black frame) can also be accomplished with stamps/printer, again colored paper with words on it. The label love can be made using a stamp and type of glue with glitter or even chipboard letters. Hope that helped. :)
