Making a cuban sandwich can be a very rewarding experience and a great opportunity to hone yoru hand tool skills. This shouldn't take longer than a weekend to build. Remember to wear proper safety gear! Eye protection is no joke.
Step 1: Mustard
Use your palette knife to spread mustard on both sides of you bun to your liking.
Step 2: Add Pork
Use your hammer claw to apply a layer of pork to your bun, use a level to make sure it has been layered evenly.
Step 3: Add Ham
Nothing can pick up ham better than a good pair of pliers. Go on it layer it on there.
Step 4: Swiss Cheese
Screwdrivers are known for their ability to perfectly stack cheese. Be careful not to over tighten, please refer to your cheese packing for proper torque specifications.
Step 5: Add Pickles
Once the pickles have been applied tighten with an adjustable wrench so they don't fall off. It is very easy to forget this little step but it is very important!
Step 6: Measure Twice Grill Once
Once you are done assembling your sandwich, use a square to make sure you have right angles all around. Once that had been corrected you can place your sandwich on the grill. Make sure your grill is properly clamped to the table to avoid burns or bodily injury.
Step 7: All Done!
Great job, once you can smell it it must be done! Enjoy!
