Necessary they are not but some people if they have build the gun and still have pieces left they may want to build on to it. Some reasons may be such as for better aiming with the bi-pod or just for the looks or psycological effect with the rest. I also believe the warning shouldn't be necessary but now people seem to lack common sense so it's better safe than sorry.

If people lack common sense, just don't put the warning in there. They totally deserve anything bad that happens to them for lack of common sense.

I also think so but the law seems to be on the people without sense's side. That's why on most things there are warning labels such as on superhero costumes which say that wearing it does not enable you to fly.

I know. I'd assume people would be smart enough to infer that themselves. Mind you if it didn't have nuts in a pack of nuts (OK, peanuts are legumes, but aside from that...) then one might want to find out what it really is that one is about to eat.

both. its just a piece of plastic. wait, plural, piece'S of plastic easier to break not the bayonet so much. its smaller.

Reply 9 years ago on Introduction

Almost anything made from K'nex would break if thrown at a brick wall at 1000 MPH. The thing is that K'nex weapons aren't used for hitting brick walls but either just for show or for fights which aren't lethal but entertaining. If it was lethal the target would die and it would cease to be all that entertaining while you spend time in prison.

there's no way YOU'RE going to throw a plastic bayonet at 1000 mph including the gun. why would you throw/shoot a bayonet/gun at a brick wall anyways? and why would i throw my airsoft gun a t a wall? or shoot it at a wall? you're arguments are completely irrelevant. and honestly, nobody mentioned lethal weaponry until you did. the best/worst airsoft guns can do is sting unless you shoot someone in the eye which is why people created a safety precaution called glasses. or if you get shot in the crotch but that wouldn't hurt at all unless you were really stupid enough to have a naked airsoft shoot thingy.

Maybe my arguements are irrelevent but that is because of you spelling and grammar which is in my opinion a total failure. I also get the feeling that you haven't made a K'nex gun in your life nor have made anything from K'nex and therefor do not have the experience to know if my K'nex guns are good or bad. Now if you want to post comments on my Instructables, how about first making the instructable and maybe some other K'nex guns so you could finally have an opinion which is actually worth something. Now if you want to comment and argue with me, send it in a private message after spell checking the message, but not here on my Instructables. If you post any more comments on my Instructables which I deem of having no cause of being here, meaning that you haven't made the Instructable and are commenting whether it is good or not, I will most likely flag it.
