Introduction: MONSTER TRUCK🚙🚚

Hello guys this is Vihaan and I'm back with another project which is called "MONSTER TRUCK". I've been working on this project for nearly 2 weeks and this for sure will be my best project so far. Most of it is made from cardboard and It's easy to make so have fun and enjoy this tutorial of the making of the MONSTER TRUCK.

We are using our own measurements and deign. You are free to use your own measurements and design as per your desire. I hope you'll enjoy my project and don't forget to vote for MONSTER TRUCK.😊😊

Here is a demo for you

Supplies

For making this project we need :

  • Cardboard
  • Paper tape
  • Glue gun
  • 4 motors
  • A coupe of wires
  • Paint
  • 12V Battery
  • Marker
  • Scale
  • Papers for printouts
  • Small wheels

Step 1: Step 1: Making the Cardboard Wheels

1st off lets start with the wheels.

It may look like a hectic job but believe me its really fun when you have your friends with you😊.

Cut out a 8 circles with the measurement given on the top .

After your done with your wheel cutouts proceed with the making of support system for wheels. I used the 2 bar method and joined 2 cardboard rectangles with tape.

Then I joined the supports to the cardboard wheels and put another wheel on top of it.

Peal a cardboard into half and place it between the wheels.

After your done with 4 wheels it should it should look like that.

Step 2: Step 2: Making the Body

The body is the most important part of the monster truck. We need to be very careful as the body will divide the weight of the wheels, suspensors and the motors so you need a big cardboard box (I used the one's we get when we buy an Air Conditioner). Make sure it's not too big or it's not too small.

If you want you can also design the bumper/head of the car like my friend and I did.

Now is the time for supensors. To make them you may need precise measurements which we have already done for you.

Make 8 of these so you can make the suspensors strong enough to hold the body.

Now this may be one of the hardest steps because we have to attach the suspensors and make sure they are accurate so the wheels and the motors share the weight of body equally.

It should look something like the picture above.

The next step would be adding the other 4 cardboard pieces and pasting them above the suspensors that we've already pasted.

Step 3: Step 3: Placing Motors

Solder the wires (2 wires) to the motors and add a power supply to the remote. The 2nd wire that we've taken out of the motors should be soldered to the circuit. Attach the wheels to the motors. Once you're done with that you may want to attach the bumper/header to the body of the monster truck.\

Now the only thing you would want to do is if the monster truck is working or not !!!

Please don't forget to like and share this project with others 😊😄.

Step 4:

You can also make it wireless like I did. I took out the receiver and the remote from my remote control car. Add a relay so that it supports the motors to move in a specific direction.Attach the receiver to the relays. Relays look like blue small boxes like the picture above (sorry for the mess because we didn't have enough tape).

You can add a number plate like I did.

Step 5: Modified RC Remote Control

We used a RC controlled remote to drive the MONSTER TRUCK .Now we have have modified it to make it look like a monster controller.

Here is a small demo for you about the remote

Step 6: New Skins for Truck (Skeleton Skin)

I wanted to give the monster truck a new look so now I painted it.To make this skeleton skin follow the steps.

step 1. Take the print of a rib cage of your choice.Print it and stick it on the body of monster truck.

step 2.paint the whole body with black paint(Do not forget to color between the ribs.)

You can also try out different designs which you like.

Step 7: The Monster Is Read to Turn Into the Beast Now(The Project Is Completed)

Hope you have enjoyed the project.
