As We Know that solar energy will be future of all electronics,But using solar energy efficiently we need a bit complicated circuitry , As we know about Traditional PWM based Solar charger it is easy to built as well as low cost but it wastes lots of energy as heat and Does,t Convert High Impedance Power into Lower , In other MPPT Can Convert high impedance Power to Low So MPPT based chargers can be any Buck Boost Converter , Buck Converter Carry High Conversion Efficiency.
So We Are Going to Make A buck And boost converter for MPPT.
Step 1: Working of MPPT
Main feature of MPPT is that we utilize every bit of power from solar panel to charge battery and drive load, Generally buck boost converter can either buck or boost input voltages so it can be Helpful in extreme or low sunlight,
Step 2: Schematic Diagram
This Module is Based on Current mode PWM cuntroller UC3843 this is a very famous PWM controller IC.
The power supply accepts 13 to 27 volts and produces Variable Output. The topology is SEPIC (single-ended primary inductance converter), the advantage being the ability to convert up or down with a minimum of parts and maximum efficiency. this converter can be used for solar charging module.
SEPIC topology uses two inductors, but if you couple them your efficiency goes up.
Features- This converter is can provide output upto 4 Amps At 24v At Input of 12volt. This module is short circuit protected (0.01 ohm ) Resistor is responsible for Maximum input current Limit, use lower value for high current input Use Jumper wire for maximum power output but it saturates Mosfet.
Core-Most Tricky part of this converter is its to make Transformer. I used an N87 core From Computer PSU, I don't know the exact material. It is wound in bifilar fashion. I used Electrical Tape to add a gap between the two halves of Transformer to maintain Air Gap, and put a spot of epoxy in it to keep it from making noise..The UC3843- chip is very common and made by many manufacturers using slightly different numbering systems. It comes in an 8 pin DIP package,
Note- Use Good Quality Parts Eg- Capacitor, Mosfet, Shotky Diode this ensures Good Efficiency Of converter.

It Can Drive 3x22 watt bulb at full brightness.
Cons- It can't operate efficiently below 10v. We will try to solve it in up coming project if you have any idea about it you can share it with us.
