Step 2: Step 1

Repeat with the other pairs of strings.
Step 7: Step 4
Cut off the cord you used for the macrame right at the ends, then put a dab of glue on them.
Repeat with all the other strings.
Step 9: Step 5
Now take 2 pairs of the strings and tie them together. Do with the other side.
Step 10: Step 6
On one of the knots cut off 3 out of the 4 strings, at the ends, then put a dab of glue on them.

Step 12: Step 7
You should have 2 strings left. Now put the 2 strings together and set them on the clipboard. Take the 12 inch cord and put it under the 2 strings.
Step 13: Step 8
Do the macrame pattern (with the 12 inch cord) 12 times and don't tighten a lot so the other strings can move.
Step 14: Step 9
Cut the ends of the 2 strings that you were doing the macrame pattern with. Then put a dab of glue on both ends.
Step 15: Step 10
Put the 2 beads on the 2 strands if you want to. Then make a knot and cut the 2 strands at a reasonable length (at the end of the knots). Put a dab of glue on both knots.
