This board is designed to hold all sorts of knives. It is meant to hold 12 small to medium sized pocket knives, 4 larger pocket knives or small fixed blade knives, and 2 larger knives. The knives are held on the board b y magnets which allows for quick and easy storage as well as knife retrieval. I always lose my knives because I don't put them all in the same place but now it only takes a couple of seconds to put away any knife.

Step 1: Materials and Tools
- 7 packages of Qty 3 .709in diameter Neodymium magnets (found at Home Depot)
- 2 pieces of 12in x 22in wood or acrylic of thickness ~.177in (depending on the look you're going for)
- super glue or wood glue depending on the material you use
- 3/8in drill bit
- 3/16in drill bit
- 23/32in drill bit (if you can't find one of these use an 11/16in bit and use a Dremel to make the hole larger to fit the magnets)
- Laser Cutter
Step 2: Markup
Layout these templates on both of your pieces of 12in x 22in acrylic/wood and mark where to drill all of the holes. In addition to this I added a .5in fillet to the corners of my knife board to give it a cleaner look. I have included AutoDesk inventor files if you want to use a laser-cutter.
Step 3: Cut It Out
After you marked out where you're going to drill all your holes and the size of the board you need, cut the board out and then drill out all the holes using the template to get the correct sizes for the holes.
Step 4: Assembly
First, glue the two boards together using wood glue if you used wood and super glue if you used acrylic. Next put a drop of super glue on the back of each magnet before you push them into their holes. Make sure to keep the magnetic fields all the magnets facing the same way.
Step 5: Mount and Enjoy
This is the last step, use the four mounting holes on each corner to mount your new knife holder to your wall and enjoy the ease of access to all of your knives. Also have fun with giving it a design either with paint or laser etching. Make it your own!
