This Instructable will show you how to make old pennies look shiny and new again

Step 1: Gather Materials

1. You will need :

  • Vinegar
  • Salt
  • Old Pennies
  • A small bowl
  • A piece of paper towel
  • A spoon (optional)
  • An old pair of tweezers (optional)

Step 2: Put Vinegar & Salt in the Bowl

1. Put a little vinegar in the bowl

2. Put a little salt in the bowl

3. Mix the solution together

  • You can use a spoon or your finger

Step 3: Place Penny in the Solution

1. Pick up a penny

2. Place the penny into the bowl

  • You can use an old pair of tweezers or your finger

3. move the penny around for a few seconds making sure it is saturated in the solution

  • You can use a spoon or your finger

4. Let it sit for a minute

Step 4: Remove the Penny

1. Remove the penny from the solution

  • You can use your finger or an old pair of tweezers

2. Place the penny on a piece of paper towel

3. Dry it off with the paper towel
