Make a Book With the Cinelerra CV Documentation (Relier Le Manuel De Cinelerra CV)

English : Cinelerra is an open source non-linear editing and compositing video software on GNU/Linux platform. The .pdf version of the Cinelerra CV's manual (available there ==> http://cvs.cinelerra.org/docs/cinelerra_cv_manual_en.pdf ) is a document of about 200 pages. We will try to give it a book-like form.

French : Cinelerra est un logiciel open source d'edition et de composition video sur plateforme GNU/Linux. La version .pdf du Manuel de Cinelerra CV (disponible par la ==> http://cvs.cinelerra.org/docs/cinelerra_cv_manual_fr.pdf ) est un gros document d'environ 200 pages. Donnons lui l'aspect d'un livre.

Step 1: What We Need (Ce Dont Nous Avons Besoin)

english : put your mouse over the picture to view what we need for this instructable.

french : passez votre souris au dessus de l'image pour voir ce dont nous aurons besoin tout au long de ce tutoriel.

Step 2: Press All the Leaves (Pressez Les Feuilles)

english : The leaves and the back/front boards must be pressed. Use the little boards and the screw-clamps to do it. Note: keep a little field (see the image) to add the backbone after.

french : Les feuilles et les couvertures doivent etre pressees. Utilisez les planchettes et les serre-joints pour cela. Remarque: laissez une place (voir l'image) pour ajouter le dos du livre plus tard.

Step 3: Scarify the Backbone Part (scarifiez La Partie Du Dos Du Livre)

english : With the craft knife, scarify or lacerate the backbone part of your book to allow the glue stick easily on the surface. Note: I used the saw of my multi-fonction pocket knife to do the job too.

french : Scarifiez le dos de votre livre pour permettre a la colle d'adherer plus facilement a la surface. Remarque: La scie de votre couteau suisse peut ausi faire l'affaire.

Step 4: Add a Piece of Blue-jean to Paste All the Leaves Together (Ajouter Un Morceau De Blue-jean Pour Relier Toutes Les Feuilles).

english : Slip the piece of blue-jean under one of the little boards and press the screw-clamps. Note: You could have done this step at the begining of the project (I only forgot it).

french : Glissez le morceau de blue-jean en dessous d'une des deux planchettes et serrez les serre-joints. Remarque: Vous aurriez tres bien pu faire cela au tout debut du projet (j'ai tout simplement oublie).

Step 5: Apply the Glue and Paste (Appliquez La Colle Et Collez Le Tout)

english : Apply the glue on the rough surface and paste all the leaves and the front/back boards together with the piece of blue-jean. Note: I advice you a gel type of glue.

french : Appliquez la colle sur la surface rugueuse et coller l'ensemble des feuilles et des couvertures du livre avec le morceau de blue-jean. Remarque: Je vous conseille d'utiliser une colle sous forme de gel.

Step 6: Finishing Touch (travaux De Finition)

english : after a while, if you think the glue is dry, you can remove the screw-clamps and the little boards and then finish your work by removing all excessed parts of the piece of blue-jean.

french : Une fois la colle sechee, vous pouvez retirer les serre-joints et les planchettes et faire la finition de votre "oeuvre" en coupant les morceaux de blue-jean en surplus.

Step 7: You're Done (Et Voila !)
