Making Betty Crocker Milk Chocolate Cupcakes

This recipe makes 24 delicious cupcakes! It will take about 1 hour.

Materials:

- 1 box Betty Crocker Super Moist Cake Mix (Milk Chocolate)

-1 1/4 cups water

-1/3 cup vegetable oil

- 3 eggs

- 2 cupcake baking sheets (that fit a dozen cupcakes)

- 24 cupcake liners

- 1 large bowl

- 1 whisk

- 1 spoon

- 1 knife

- 1 container of frosting (any brand or flavor)

Optional:

- 1 container of sprinkles

Step 1: Heating the Oven and Preparing the Baking Sheets

First, heat your oven to 350 degrees fahrenheit. Next, put the cupcake liners into your baking sheets.

Step 2: Making the Batter

In your large bowl mix the cake mix, water, oil, and eggs with your whisk. Get out all of the clumps that may form.

Step 3: Pouring the Batter Into the Cupcake Baking Sheets

Take your spoon, and get a spoonful of the cupcake batter. With your spoonful of batter, fill up each cupcake liner with batter, only fill up your cupcake liner about 2/3 of the way.

Step 4: Baking the Cupcakes

Put the cupcakes in the oven for 14-19 minutes. To tell if the cupcakes are done, insert a toothpick in the middle of one of the cupcakes. If the toothpick comes out clean then they are ready, if it has batter then the cupcakes need more time in the oven.

Once the cupcakes are ready, take them out of the oven and let them cool for 10 minutes. Make sure your cupcakes are cooled before moving to the next step.

Step 5: Decorating and Finishing the Cupcakes

Take a knife and dip it in to the frosting. Smear the frosting over the top of the cupcake, creating a thin layer of frosting on the top of the cupcake. Repeat for every cupcake. Optional: Once all you cupcakes are frosted, you may choose to put sprinkles of the top. Congratulations, you have finished making your cupcakes.
