About: I would like to show what I build when I'm bored mostly from wasted materials from the building sites I work on.

Shed built mainly from left over roofing timber from a new housing site. 100s of meters of 4x1 ' 6x1 and stud work timbers. Gotta be worth the van hire and 100mile round trip :-)

This is fantastic! And it's illegal to dumpster dive in most states in the US actually, I wish I could do this! I love building! Also be careful with the bricks slanting towards to the house! Can cause flooding really easily, I had to fix that on my brother's house! Total pain in the arse!

If that is made with free leftovers from a construction job, nicely done. Here in Florida, you can't dumpster dive anymore on a construction site, to prevent theft it is now illegal to salvage anything on site.

That's unfortunate not to be able to take the leftovers in Florida. I was contracted to supply the labour for all carpentry on the site so I had some good bargaining in getting the leftovers at the end. In Britain it's disgusting how much useful left over waste gets dumped on new housing sites. I had to spend a additional £1200 on the remaining materials including electrics. Pretty good value overall as it was a joy to build :-)
