Melon Xylophone

Here is an instrument that doesn't make a wooden sound music, but will make your taste buds dance!

This is a simple yet very effective idea for a musical party or for just something different to have.

"The modern western xylophone has bars of rosewood, padauk," - Wiki But ours is much yummier made from melons.

Step 1: Find Your Fruit

You will need:

Cantelope (Rockmelon)

Honeydew melon

2 Wooden Skewers

For your Tools you will need:

Cutting board

Serving Plate

Step 2: Prepare the Bars

Cut the melons into a inch thick slices. Alternate the colors and cut the ends diagonally, so that they go in descending size order.

Step 3: Bolt It Into Place

Arrange them on your chosen Serving Plate. Take the Grapes and cut the ends off and eat the middle...

Step 4: Ready to Dance

Place the ends of the Grapes on each end of the pieces.

Put a Skewer into each Strawberry.

And you are ready to play until your heart's content or until you get hungry!
