Messy Bobbins! Oh Noes!

About: We have cats. I like to costume and make fun things.

So, some of us have plastic bobbins instead of metal.

Some of us buy bobbin cases without fully considering they might only work for metal bobbins.

The plastic bobbins 'fit' in okay, but they still can roll around, causing thread to get loose. Additionally, they can fall out of the case extremely easily.  This isn't really helpful.

The fix will cost you only pennies. And you can always get your money back.

Inserting a penny next to each bobbin stabilizes them and keeps them from rolling around.

Of course, you could always cut out circles of craft foam and use that instead, but pennies are easier, and the perfect shape and width.

You should specify American sized pennies and check to see what Euro pennies or 5 Groszy pieces will work as well.

i believe the idea is that a coin in general will work. As long as its small enough to still close the lid. I believe the use of pennies was a clever way to say cheap but still showing a coin will do the trick :] Besides if you use more than a few cents you can also save some change in the process.
