Step 1: Gather Materials
For the mummy, you're going to need some paper, scissors, clear tape, the milk bottle itself (which can be substituted with a juice bottle or something similar), and something to wrap him with. (This material is up to you; I recommend crepe paper or something similar)
Step 2: Creating a Face
Start by cutting out a small piece of paper with about the width of the lid. The length will be slightly longer than that.
Step 3: Attaching the Face
Draw a face of your liking on the paper. Then, place clear tape over the face and tape it over the lid of the bottle. (as seen in the picture on the previous step)
Step 4: Wrapping
Now the wrapping stage is flexible and you can do it how you want. I started by cutting the crepe paper into two uneven strips. Next, I taped the end of a strip to the bottom of the bottle.
Step 5: More Wrapping
Now, Start wrapping the paper around the bottle and tape the end down. I left the expiration date exposed for humor :).
Step 6: Finish Wrapping
Repeat wrapping and taping until satisfied. Getting the top covered can be tricky.
Step 7: Bonus: Milkenstein
I will now show you how to make Milkenstein. Simply put a goofy Frankenstein-like face on him.
Step 8: Screw Loose
Finish by sticking thumbtacks in his head as substitute screws.
Step 9: Conclusion
These are just two examples. Use this concept to make any kind of décor with just simple household items.
