Milk Fudge/Candy is a delicious, mouthwatering dessert. This is a unique “fudge” made with just a few ingredients, primarily milk and condensed milk and has a touch of sourness to it.
½ gallon of whole milk
Juice of a lemon
350 ml sweetened condensed milk
2 to 3 teaspoon sliced pistachios
¼ teaspoon green cardamom powder

Step 1: Heat the Milk
Pour the milk into the saucepan and set over medium heat. Boil the milk. Stir the milk occasionally, scraping the bottom of the pot to make sure the milk doesn't scald. When ready, the milk will look foamy and steamy
Step 2: Add the Lemon Juice
Remove the milk from heat and stir in the lemon juice. The milk should begin to curdle immediately, but it's ok if it doesn't. Let the milk stand for 10 minutes: Cover the milk and let stand for 10 minutes to give the acid time to completely separate the curds and whey. At the end of 10 minutes, the curds should be completely separated and the liquid should look yellow and watery
Step 3: Squeeze Out the Excess Water
Set a strainer or colander over a mixing bowl and line it with cheesecloth. Carefully scoop or pour the curds into the strainer, letting the whey collect in the bowl beneath. Gather the cheesecloth in your hand and gently squeeze to remove the excess whey. Paneer is ready.
Heat a non sticky pan, add crumbled paneer and sweetened condensed milk and stir continuously until it starts thickening. Add green cardamom powder and mix well. Continue to cook till the mixture begins to leave the sides of the pan.
Transfer it into the greased tray. Garnish with sliced pistachios.Set aside for 3-4 hours and cut it into the desired shapes and serve.
