Introduction: Minecraft Basic Cake Dispenser

Hi there everyone, Brendog here!  This is my first Instructable, a guide on the nuances of making a basic Cake Dispenser in Minecraft.  Although many of you reading this will already know how to make such a simple machine, sadly I lack the experience and knowledge required to create anything more complex.  Nonetheless, I hope you all enjoy this small taste of what can be done in Minecraft

Step 1: Items Needed

One Redstone-Powered Dispenser
Sixty-four Redstone Wires
Ten Cakes
One Charge-Generating Pressure Plate

Step 2: Step 1

Place Redstone-Powered Dispenser on ground, the side with the hole oriented towards you.

Step 3: Step 2

Place Charge-Generating Pressure Plate in front of the Dispenser, directly adjacent to it.

Step 4: Step 3

Lay Redstone Wires connecting the Redstone-Powered Dispenser and Charge-Generating Pressure Plate.  You will have extra Redstone Wiring

Step 5: Step 4

Fill Redstone-Powered Dispenser with Cake until it can hold no more.  You will have one extra cake.

Step 6: Step 5

Step on the Charge-Generating Pressure Plate.  This action will cause the Pressure Plate to generate an electrical charge which will travel through the aforementioned Redstone Wires (causing them to turn a bright red), eventually reaching the Dispenser and causing it to dispense a single Cake.

Step 7: Step 6

Rinse and Repeat, refilling the Redstone-Powered Dispenser with more Cakes as needed.  Hope you enjoyed!

When you can just put a pressure plate in front of the dispenser without REDSTONE DUST! Not REDSTONE wire. If you just use a regular pressure plate and it will work still.

Yes, yes you could, Or possibly just place the pressure plate in front of the dispenser, that would also work...

Thanks for showing me a new hobby! My wife is going to wonder why I've moved from the shop to the computer. If I ever need a cake dispenser in cyberspace, I'll know how to do it. You get a 100 for the project!
