Step 1: Use Fences As Doors

Using fences as doors can be useful for when zombies try to get in to your house. They can't get in but you can still kill them!

Step 2: Walk-along-garden

If you dont have much space for a garden, and have bridges going to other houses, make you gardens on the side of the bridges!

Step 3: Mine Diamond Fast!

Go all the way to bedrock, then dig up 11 blocks. Mine there and your sure to find gold, diamond, lapis, redstone, iron, and coal!

Step 4: Tree on Tree on Tree!

Plant a tree, once it grows place a block of dirt on top of it, then plant another tree, do as many as ya like!

Step 5: Go Outside of Your World!

Place glass right on the side of the world all the way up to the top (where you cant place anymore) Then click on the side of the glass with a ladder, keep placing ladders till ur at the top. Now erase all the glass. Then climb up to ladder and once you reach the top, ull be out of the world!

Step 6: Thats It!

I hope you enjoyed this instructable! See ya next time!

Minecraft looks like a very fun game! If they come out with a minecraft game that, instead of having monsters, they have wild animals, I would get really excited! Because it would be way more like survival in a real world! I know someone has already thought of that, but I used to watch quite a bit of minecraft gameplay videos by a guy on YouTube named blitzwinger. And when I would watch the videos, even though the monsters just look like blocks, they creeped me out even though I was not the one playing the game! I also love the creative aspect of it, even though, once again, everything looks like blocks. Also, since I watched so many minecraft videos, I know how to play the normal game! So, anyway, if they came out with a game like that, than I would probably play it sometime in the future!

PS: I probably won't play it very soon because I have other things to do than dig through a cave and hunt pigs!

Yeah also, I what's thinking in terms of it not only being less creepy, but also it would be educational! Because it kind of gives you the feel like you really need to survive, and the game doesn't just throw resources at you, you have to go find them. And it would be great if while your trying to get those resources, there aren't monsters trying to eat you, because that just isn't realistic. Instead of zombies, you can have a starving lion, growling for food. Instead of skeletons, you can have dangerous natives that shoot arrows at you. Instead of creepers you can have, okay the creepers are pretty cool, but I hate the endermen, the witches, and the other monsters. The only monsters that I think are cool are the creepers, and the slime cubes.

Hope you didn't fall asleep wile you read this comment, I just wanted to say what I couldn't say in the last comment. :)

Have a good day! :]

Sorry that I misspelled the word "was" in the last comment. I misspelled it because sometimes I'm writing in a hurry and don't write the words correctly, so I sincerely apologize.

Anyway, hopefully you did not notice my stupid little error. (;

Good night! (:

It is a great reference book, but here is some constructive criticism. 1. It is a five piece guide. Not too much, not too shabby. 2. It is very irrelevant to Minecraft survival, my favorite being bridge with a farm. 3. It is a very outdated guide. There are lots of more renewal of the guide's contents, due to being more in-game contents. 4. There isn't much information, nonetheless good information. Basically, I can write this in ten minutes, with my criteria. If you meet up to those, you may have a perfect, or possibly near perfect guide.
