Miniature Chair

This chair was a wedding present fro a friend of mine. It is made from pieces of wood cut out of top quality 1/2 inch plywood using a scroll saw. First I made a sketch, then cut the pieces and glued them together, then hand carved them and finally stained them with textile dyes. The second chair was actually the first - one that I had made for my parents and the bride had seen and admired it. This one was constructed the same way but painted with oil paint.
