Step 1: Step 1: Combining the Ingredients
In a large bowl mix together the flour, sugar, baking soda, baking powder, and cinnamon. Then, in another bowl, mash the bananas then add in the eggs, buttermilk, vanilla, and melted butter and stir until combined. Add the banana mixture to the dry ingredients and mix until they are combined. I usually let the batter sit for at least an hour or more before adding it to the pan to be baked.
Step 2: Step 2: the Prepping of the Pan, Oven
Pre-heat your oven to 350 degrees. Once the oven is
pre-heated, pour your batter in to a greased 9x3 inch loaf pan. Make sure not to fill the pan past ¾, you may need to use 2 pans. Put the pan in the oven and bake for 60-75 minutes. Check it with a toothpick when it is done and make sure it comes out clean. If it doesn’t put it back in. I always check it at 60 minutes and if it doesn’t come out clean, I add additional time.
Step 3: Step 3: Enjoy
You need to let it sit for a while before eating, so you don’t burn yourself. Try to keep it a little warm because warm bread is the best bread. Then cut a piece of the bread and enjoy. You can make extra and store it in the freezer until you are ready to eat it.
