Introduction: Mouse Trap

The mouse trap car that we made is composed of: a mouse trap (obviously), a piece of wood ( any wood of your choice as long as it is not ply wood that has a tendinitis to split easily.), leather string, a metal rod, pieces of a skateboard, wooden wheels, screws and hot glue. Here is an example.

Step 1: Build the Body

You take the piece of wood, and drill a hole through the wood then drill through the side to put a pencil as an axle.

Step 2: Cut Out the Wheel

Then take a couple more pieces of and cut them into a circular shape. When you are done with that, you need to drill a hole into the middle of the wheels that you cut out. Then, when you are done cutting all the wood that you need. You take the skateboard and take off the truck of it. ( You will need the truck bolts and truck nuts from the board when you take it off.)

Step 3: Put It Together

Now that most of the stuff on the to-do list is done you can put it all together. If you haven't already drill four extra holes for the truck of the skateboard. Then, attach it to the board. Take the wooden wheels and glue it to the pencil. After that, attach the mouse trap in anyway that you want. When everything is dry, tie the leather string to the pencil, and then tie it to the mouse trap.

Step 4: An Example

My group did not make this car we only made a similar version
