This pattern is super easy to use. Download, print, and cut out!

We are using a thin knit and sweater fabric. We had these laying around the shop and wanted to test them out. The link above directs you to the standard style fleece used to make very warm gaiters. Feel free to use any STRETCHY fabric. Get Creative!

-LINK to Serger(Recommended for construction): http://amzn.to/2ptHrqL

We highly recommend using a serger. But, if you do not have one no worries! Just be sure to use a zigzag stitch. This stitch is best for stretchy knit fabric. It allows the stitch to stretch with the fabric.

Step 3: Tracing and Cutting Bottom Panel

-Place the panel on the fold of the first fabric. Keep in mind you can us the same fabric for both panels. We are using two different types to show the variations you can create.

-Trace around the pattern.

-Cut out. You should end up with one long rectangle after it is unfolded.

Step 4: Tracing and Cutting Top Panel

-Place the top panel on the fold of the second fabric.

-Trace around the pattern.

-Cut out. You should end up with one long rectangle after it is unfolded. The top is taller then the bottom panel so make this fabric selection wisely. This will be the majority of the gaiter.

Step 5: Sewing Bottom Panel

-Keep the bottom panel folded and sew across the edge opposite of the fold.

-Sew with serger or zigzag stitch.

Step 6: Sewing Top Panel

-Keep the top panel folded and sew across the edge opposite of the fold.
-Sew with serger or zigzag stitch.

Step 7: Preping Panel for Sewing

-Keep the top panel inside out.

-Take the bottom panel flip it right side out.

-Place the bottom panel inside the top panel. The right sides should be together.

-Line up the two seams. This will help keep everything centered when sewing.

Step 8: Sew Top to Bottom Panel

-Sew all the way around the circle.

-We recommend starting were the two seams meet.

Step 9: Flip Right Side Out

-Go ahead and flip the piece right side out and you are done. It is that simple. You can make one for everyday of the week! :)

-Fold it, flip it, wear it how you want!

Hope you all have fun with this project and thanks for checking out my instructable!
