About: A high school kid who likes to do a lot. I like to build, invent, blow things up, and fire. If you need help on a project or need a new idea just message me. I regularly check instructables so I will probabl...

I just cleaned my two hairless rats' cage today and I decided to add more to it. I had a hammock earlier but it was attached to the top and really a pain. So I made some modifications to it and boom it works. Also I added that apartment to it.
When I have it open, the rats try to get out so about a week or so back I made a knex ramp/ladder. They go down it, but they don't like to go up it.
My hairless rats' names are Buttercup and Delilah.

I am entering this into the I Made It Photo Contest so vote for me.

Any feed back is welcome.

Thanks
Zippy

You need more ventilation :( I would look into getting a wire cage, as aquariums are widely thought to cause/irritate respiratory problems in rats.

Thank you for your concern. Both of my rats have died since this, but about a month after i posted these pictures, i build a cage out of some wood and a lot of "chicken wire" which provided a lot of ventilation and it is much bigger and allowed my rats to climb and get more exercise.

that cage you have is nifty, but very small. i recommend getting a larger cage for the lil' guys! Don't worry, this is only "constructive" criticism...

    Oh its ok

And actually within the last week i built a cage for them that i have not found the time to put pictures up! Its really big for just the two girls. I could actually probably fit 1 or 2 more rats in it comfortably once i put in more levels and more hammocks!

thanks and yeah they do, but i have to have a lot of bedding and i give them ripped up paper towel and they like that for warmth
