Hoppy Eggs-travaganza! That rascally Blabbit has already started hiding Monster eggs to celebrate the season, so you’re going to need a festive Easter basket to tote them around. Follow along with this easy Instructable to make your own Easter basket inspired by everyone’s favorite decoration: the Floofy Nest!

Step 1: Materials

To make this crafty Floofy Nest Easter basket, you will need the following materials:

  • Floofy Nest Print-Out
  • Green Easter Basket
  • Yellow Artificial Hay
  • Plastic Easter Eggs in Assorted Colors
  • Scissors
  • Clear Tape
  • Popsicle or Lollipop Sticks

Step 2: Cut Out Floofy Nest Decorations

Print out the Floofy Nest Print Out from Big Blue Bubble’s official website. Make sure to use a color printer! Then use your scissors to cut out the greenery that will surround your Floofy Nest. If you need help using scissors or cutting out the details, ask an adult!

Step 3: Tape Floofy Nest Decorations to Sticks

Using clear tape, secure your popsicle or lollipop sticks to the back of your Floofy Nest decorations. Make sure to leave about 1” of your sticks exposed at the bottom of each decoration!

Step 4: Add Hay to Your Basket

Place your yellow artificial hay in your Easter basket. Arrange the hay to make a comfortable little nest for your Floofies!

Step 5: Place Your Floofy Nest Decorations in the Basket

Carefully place your Floofy Nest decorations from Step 3 into the artificial hay nest of your basket. Make sure the exposed pieces of your sticks are covered by the hay. Your decorations should stand tall and make the Floofy Nest look like home!

Step 6: Add Your Floofies!

Finally, arrange your assorted plastic eggs in your Floofy Nest. These eggs will represent the mischievous Floofies, which come in blue, yellow, green, and orange varieties. You can fill the plastic eggs with treats to share with your friends during Eggs-travaganza — or save the treats for yourself!

Happy Monstering and a Hoppy Eggs-travaganza from the Monster-Handlers of My Singing Monsters!
