My Workspace: BiD

About: I am trying to do what I love to do. Looking for people to do it with!

I do projects at UC Berkeley's graduate lab the Berkeley Institute of Design (BiD) with friends. It's an amazing space to work in and I'm lucky to have access. An extension cord is never more than four feet about your head, our giant conference table is also six individual work spaces, I designed a notebook next to someone programming a giant touch surface table. The food co-op is right around the corner, by the workshop. Most importantly, friends are all around me.

Its instructable because you can see some good ideas:

    1) Desks are mobile (on castors) and not too densely packed so project team seating and misc spaces can be reconfigured in minutes.

    2) The power supply points are all in the ceiling and no more than 4 feet from each other (so there are lots of them) a cable drops right down to the desk which means you can move it easily.

    3) As a minor point they have lots of whiteboards and sofas around to foster creativity.

Personally I think it looks like there is too much junk lying around but the mobile desks are a great idea

No offense, but how is this even an instructable? I'm not sure what the purpose of this is (or why it's featured).
